Love, Lost and Found

Unforgettable Harmonies of the Heart

Love is both exquisite and agonizing, tender and terrifying. It’s a delirious waltz sparked by attraction and romance—a chance encounter that knocks us off our feet. It’s the fierce devotion we give our loved ones. It’s the journey to know a higher power and the choice to see and serve our fellow humans. And, it is the hollowing of our souls when we are visited by heartbreak of all kinds. In this powerful and moving program, the Northwest Firelight Chorale explores the complexities and contradictions of the greatest gift we are able to give and receive. You’ll hear songs of hopeful anticipation, melodies of unexpected joy and jubilation, and anthems filled with heartache and longing. Love is a many-splendored thing, indeed.

“Stunning. The choir is a conduit of the Spirit’s inner work.”

“I loved the concert. You’re an amazing talent and transmitter of joy. I expect to attend all concerts you produce, especially if they are sacred or ecstatic in any way.  Your director’s musicology is astounding and the stagecraft = amazing.”

“Very physical response:  I actually shivered.  I cried.  It’s only intermission!  The concert was much fun! And the singing magnificent! Thank you!”

“I was deeply touched by the music of your choir.”
